Summer Season at Off The Wall Theater

Off The Wall Productions is on hiatus until October 2013,  but keeping with our mission to encourage and support the artist, and the appreciation of all arts, it is Off The Wall Theater’s goal to provide visiting artists a home in which to present live theater, dance, music, and comedy.


Our Summer 2013 schedule is a reflection of these goals and an introduction of Off The Wall Theater to the Pittsburgh Community as a new and viable arts and 
entertainment  venue.

GHOSTS: A SET IN THE MAKING (PART 1)

In this two-part blog, I’m going to focus not on the play itself, but on the set. Why? Because quite simply the set is astonishing! If you’ve been keeping up with our blogs, you already know that our current production Ghosts is set in the early 1880’s, that it was written by Norwegian playwright Henrik Isben and that though it is a revered classic today, it was considered absolutely scandalous in its time. The exposed secrets and immoralities conflicted with society’s moral taboos.
