THE YEAR IN REVIEW

We’re proud to produce 4 theater productions every season. It is always our goal to bring productions that challenge our audiences with thought-provoking works. Last year’s theater season was the year of plays by and about women. We introduced 4 acclaimed playwrights: Madeleine George, Lisa Kron, Sarah Treem, and Rinne Groff!
We explored themes that impact lives of women and men alike, but most importantly, that bring another perspective to the challenges faced by real people. A lover whose love is not returned in the same way, the relationship between a mother and daughter when the mother has a chronic illness, the struggles of a young woman deciding between following her dreams or loving a man for none of the right reasons, and the trials and tribulations of a self-absorbed couple obsessed with material accomplishments.
